*Not mandatory

We are expecting ANYONE selected to be able to attend ALL training sessions. We will have to learn and practice the routine on a limited number of practices, this is only possible if we can expect maximum effort from everyone. If you cannot attend all training sessions, unfortunately you cannot be selected for the team.

In addition to these mandatory trainings with the team, you are also expected to systematically train independently. We expect independent training on all required elements at least 2x per month. Videos of these training sessions will be forwarded to the coaches and you will always receive interim feedback on them.

Overview of the trip

This overview is subject to change.
Departure is tentatively foreseen on Saturday April 19 or Sunday April 20, return on Sunday April 27 or Monday April 28. The prices of the plane tickets will be decisive. The program on site may also change significantly, we base ourselves on past years, but we plan 2 years ahead, so obviously this is not final.

  • Saturday, April 19 or Sunday, April 20: Departure Zaventem - Arrival Florida
  • (Sunday, April 20): Rest Day
  • Monday, April 21: Evening training
  • Tuesday, April 22: Training
  • Wednesday, April 23: Training + Opening Ceremony
  • Thursday April 24: ICU Worlds day 1: qualifications
  • Friday April 25: ICU Worlds day 2: finals
  • Saturday April 26: Rest Day/Disney
  • (Sunday, April 27): (Rest Day)/ Disney
  • Sunday, April 27 or Monday, April 28: Departure from Orlando
  • Monday, April 28 or Tuesday, April 29: Arrival at Zaventem

As you can see, this is a busy schedule with at least 3 training days and certainly 1-2 competition days. The focus of the trip is and always will be participating in the competition. There will be plenty of room to enjoy the sun, but there will also need to be enough rest built in to be able to sustain the trainings and competitions
