Federation API
Has something unpleasant happened to you or someone you know during a training or cheerleading-related activity? Do you suspect undesirable events?
If so, contact our integrity contact person (API). You can talk to her in confidence about what happened, what you have heard or seen, or what you suspect.
We take every report seriously.
Are you experiencing problems and want to talk about it? Or do you have a question about inappropriate behavior? At BCF, we handle every report with the utmost discretion.
WHAT IS AN API?
An independent integrity contact person (API) is an accessible point of contact, a confidant for athletes, parents, coaches, or other involved parties with a question, suspicion, or complaint about possible inappropriate behavior. This person ensures that the policy gives sufficient attention to preventing and dealing with inappropriate behavior.

REPORTING PROCEDURE
You can submit a report to our federation API via the reporting form above or by email. Both channels lead to our federation API who will handle your report confidentially. The federation API will listen to your story and ask additional questions to get a complete picture of the situation. Your report will then be handled according to a fixed step-by-step plan. As the reporter, you will be involved at every step and your expectations will be taken into account.
Mapping the situation: If necessary, the federation API will determine with you which other persons (e.g., witnesses, involved parties) need to be contacted to get a complete picture of the situation.
Assessing the severity and seeking advice: The federation API will assess the severity of the situation and, if necessary, contact external organizations for advice (e.g., the Center for Ethics in Sports, 1712). The federation API can also discuss the situation anonymously with members of the ethics advisory body. This is done discreetly and only with persons who are in no way involved in the situation.
Formulating and implementing advice: Based on the severity assessment and the advice obtained, the federation API will formulate advice. Depending on the situation, this advice may be directed to the reporter, the sports club board, the federation board, etc. The advice is directed to those who can take the necessary steps and takes your expectations as a reporter into account. It is then up to these persons or bodies to implement the advice, possibly with the support of the federation API.
Follow-up: The federation API will look into the necessary follow-up and refer the parties involved to the appropriate help channels. The federation API will also contact the reporter to see if everything is going well and if further actions are needed.
Evaluation and policy: The federation API will evaluate whether everything was handled correctly and if there are any points for improvement for the future. Additionally, the federation API will examine whether there are missing policy measures within the federation and/or club to prevent a recurrence of the situation.
Every time the federation API has a conversation regarding the situation, a report is made. All reports about a situation are securely stored and are only accessible to the federation API. The federation reports annually in an anonymized manner to the government about all situations. The name of the reporter or the sports club is never mentioned.
