Team Manager Team Belgium 2027
For Team Belgium, we are looking for a Team Manager who will help take care of the practical coordination and day-to-day follow-up of our national teams.
The role runs throughout the entire Team Belgium program and focuses on support, communication, and connection between athletes, staff, and the federation. The Team Manager is a consistent presence at trainings and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of Team Belgium.
ABOUT THE ROLE
For Team Belgium, we are looking for a Team Manager who is willing to take on a key role within our national teams. Someone who keeps an overview, connects people, and ensures that everything runs smoothly during and around trainings.
As a Team Manager, you are the main point of contact for athletes, parents, and staff, and you help create calm and clarity within the team. You are not a coach, but a supportive and connecting role that is crucial for the smooth functioning of the team.
Together, we make sure our athletes can focus on what truly matters: performing at the highest level.
Your responsibilities
- Being present at team trainings
- Answering practical questions from athletes and parents
- Acting as the point of contact during trainings
- Passing on questions to the appropriate people
- Working closely with the project manager and the federation
- Helping ensure smooth communication and a positive atmosphere
- Being up to date with all relevant information (planning, agreements, deadlines, practical arrangements, etc.)
- Picking up signals and passing them on where necessary
Who are we looking for?
- You are strong in organization and communication
- You can take responsibility and work independently
- You are discreet, reliable, and committed
- You feel comfortable in a role involving athletes, parents, and staff
- You are able to remain neutral towards teams and athletes
- You act as a point of contact for everyone, regardless of the club they come from
- Experience in cheerleading or sports is a strong asset
