WHAT IS LEVEL UP?

Level Up is the annual education event of the Belgian Cheerleading Federation. Over two days, we bring together athletes, coaches and club administrators to develop new skills, gain knowledge and exchange experiences. The event combines technical workshops, personal development and inspiring sessions for everyone involved in the sport of cheerleading.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE?

Every registration includes:

  • Certificate of participation for coaches

WHO IS LEVEL UP FOR?

Level Up is designed for:

  • Athletes
  • Coaches
  • Club administrators

Both Belgian and international participants are welcome.

DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE BELGIAN CHEERLEADING FEDERATION TO PARTICIPATE?

No. Everyone is welcome to participate in Level Up.

Affiliated Belgian BCF clubs do receive additional benefits, including registration through the BCF Member Platformand the Coach Development Benefit.

WHERE DOES LEVEL UP TAKE PLACE?

Level Up takes place at the KU Leuven Sport Centre. The exact address and additional practical information will be announced at a later date.

WHICH DAY SHOULD I ATTEND?

This depends on your age category.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH TRACK I SHOULD JOIN?

Your club or coach will select the appropriate Track during registration based on your age and competition level.

CAN I PARTICIPATE AS AN INDIVIDUAL ATHLETE?

Yes. Both Belgian and international athletes may register individually for Level Up.

For the technical workshops, you are responsible for forming your own Partner Stunt or Group Stunt. The Belgian Cheerleading Federation does not assign stunt groups. The Development Track can be attended individually.

CAN I ATTEND WITH MY TEAM?

Yes.

DO I NEED A LOT OF EXPERIENCE?

No. Level Up offers workshops for a wide range of ages and skill levels. Both beginner and experienced athletes are welcome.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I DON'T COMPETE?

Yes. Recreational athletes are also welcome, provided they fit the appropriate age and skill category.

CAN I SWITCH TRACKS OR WORKSHOPS DURING THE DAY?

Yes.

COACHES & CLUB ADMINISTRATORS

CAN I PARTICIPATE WITHOUT BRINGING ATHLETES?

Yes. Coaches and club administrators are welcome to register individually.

CAN I ATTEND FOR ONLY ONE DAY?

Yes. You may choose to attend on Saturday, Sunday or both days.

WILL I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION?

Yes. All coaches will receive a certificate of participation after the event.

As a junior and senior coach, can I stay with my athletes on Saturday?

Yes, this is possible. However, you are expected to register for the coaches’ track for Saturday.

REGISTRATION

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Belgian clubs: Teams can be registered through the BCF Member Platform.

Belgian individual participants: Registration is available through the BCF Member Platform.

International participants: Individual registration is available through the BCF Webshop.

CAN MY CLUB REGISTER MULTIPLE TEAMS?

Yes. There is no limit to the number of teams a club may register.

UNTIL WHEN CAN I REGISTER?

Registration is open until 14 October 2026.

CAN I MODIFY MY REGISTRATION?

Please refer to our cancellation policy.

WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

Cancellations are handled in accordance with the Belgian Cheerleading Federation's general terms and conditions. Please consult the cancellation policy for information regarding refunds, if applicable.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

IS LUNCH INCLUDED?

Yes. Lunch is included in the registration fee.

ARE DRINKS INCLUDED?

Water and coffee will be available throughout the day.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN FOOD OR DRINKS?

No. However, if you have specific dietary requirements that are not covered by the buffet, you are welcome to bring your own food.

What is for lunch?

You will be able to choose from different types of pasta. Gluten-free and vegan options are available.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

For athletes, we recommend bringing:

  • Sportswear
  • Cheer shoes or indoor sports shoes
  • A water bottle
  • A notebook (optional)

Coaches and club administrators are also encouraged to bring a notebook or laptop.

ARE THE WORKSHOPS TAUGHT IN DUTCH?

Most workshops will be delivered in English.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Yes. More detailed information about parking and accessibility will be provided closer to the event.

ARE PARENTS OR SPECTATORS ALLOWED DURING LEVEL UP?

No. To provide the best possible learning environment, workshops are exclusively accessible to registered participants. Parents, family members and spectators are not permitted in the workshop areas.

WILL THE WORKSHOPS BE RECORDED OR AVAILABLE AFTERWARDS?

No. The workshops will not be recorded or live-streamed. Level Up is designed as an interactive learning experience where participants actively engage in both educational sessions and practical workshops.

PRICING

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Athletes: €60 per day – €110 for a weekend pass

Coaches & Club Administrators: €45 per day – €80 for a weekend pass

Lunch, water, coffee and access to all workshops are included.

ARE THERE ANY BENEFITS FOR AFFILIATED BCF CLUBS?

Yes. We believe that strong athletes begin with strong coaches. Therefore, every affiliated Belgian BCF club automatically receives one complimentary coach pass for every 40 registered athletes, up to a maximum of three complimentary coach passes per club.

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS

CAN INTERNATIONAL CLUBS PARTICIPATE?

Yes. International participants are warmly welcome at Level Up.

CAN AN INTERNATIONAL CLUB REGISTER AS A TEAM?

No. International participants may register on an individual basis only.
