CONTENT

Course Overview

We’ll dive into the most common cheerleading injuries and explore what you can do as a coach when there’s no medical or paramedical staff around. You'll also learn the basics of functional taping, with easy and useful techniques you can apply yourself – for emergency support or injury prevention. Practical, hands-on and made for the cheer world.

For whom?

This course is perfect for coaches, (former) athletes, new trainers, and anyone who wants to learn how to handle injuries safely and effectively during cheer practices or competitions. No medical background needed – just the motivation to learn!

  • Born in 2009 or earlier
  • Membership through the member platform

CERTIFICATE

Upon completion, successful participants will receive a certificate for participation.

SMAC

This course is organized in collaboration with the Sports Medical Advice Center (SMAC). The SMAC is an institution of UZ Leuven that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related conditions.

Registration is only possible through the BCF platform.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

If you are unable to attend, the following conditions apply:

  • Up to 7 days before the activity: 100% refund.
  • Less than 7 days before the activity: no refund.
  • Your registration may be transferred to another participant free of charge, subject to prior approval by the Belgian Cheerleading Federation.
  • In the event of illness or injury, a credit voucher may be issued upon presentation of a valid medical certificate. Refunds will not be provided in this case.
  • If the Belgian Cheerleading Federation cancels the activity, the full registration fee will be refunded or your registration may be transferred to a new date free of charge.
