Discover the New Cheer STARS System

Starting this season, we are introducing a new star-based evaluation system for the Novice and Primary divisions at competitions: Cheer STARS ⭐.

The numerical scores from the ICU scoresheet will be replaced by a new system. This new approach focuses on development, motivation, and positive feedback. Instead of receiving a traditional ranking, teams will be evaluated based on the number of stars they achieve.

During this free online information session, coaches and club representatives will receive a complete overview of the new system and learn how it will be applied at competitions.

You may attend either one session or both sessions.

COURSE CONTENT

During this online information session, you will receive a complete overview of the Cheer STARS system and how it will be applied at competitions.

Topics include:

  • The vision behind Cheer STARS
  • How the star-based evaluation system works
  • What the different stars represent
  • How routines are evaluated
  • What this means for athletes, coaches, and clubs at competitions

At the end of the session, there will be plenty of time to ask questions.

  • Anyone who would like to learn more about the Cheer STARS system

No prior knowledge is required.
